someone reblogs a post with an edgy comment. a third person reblogs and comments “there are two kinds of people.” a fourth person reblogs and comments” there are three kinds of people.” a fifth person reblogs and adds “there are four kinds of people.” this continues for infinity.

Art Nouveau Border Tutorial for Photoshop
My slapdash attempt at a tutorial explaining how to save yourself hours of needless scribbling and erasing to recreate the elegant look of organic, silhouetted linework. If only I had known this ages ago, instead of just now, when my wife said, “hey, look what I did with Layer Styles,” and I wept bitterly. Maybe everyone else knows this trick, too, but I sure as hell didn’t. This is for all of my people: the manual-pitchers, the wing-it crowd, and the shamelessly naive.
Also, as a disclaimer, please forgive the nonsensical nature of the border, I just wanted to illustrate a small portion of the variety of lines and motifs you could use with this trick.
I originally found this after using it for text! So, there’s another trick. After you type whatever you’d like to type in PS, go to Layer Style and choose what you’d like to do with it. It can make it glow, make it outlined (great for making text pop), drop-shadow it, etc — in any color(s) you’d like. It’s a lot easier than using multiple layers.
